Somfy has appointed two new Field Service
Representatives (FSR's), Bryan McNamara &
Laurie King. Bryan covers the Mid-Atlantic
territory of OH, WV, VA, MD, and DE. Laurie
covers the Southern Atlantic territory of TN,
NC, SC, GA, AL, and MS. Based out of Virginia
and Georgia respectively both FSR’s will be
responsible for educating, training and supporting
interior and exterior window covering retail
dealers in their territories, about the benefits
of Somfy motors and controls.

The new Sonesse™ 30 RS485, 24VDC, 1.1 inch diameter motor provides communication
via the industry standard RS485 which is compatible with the Somfy Digital Network
(SDN) and easily integrates with third party control systems. In addition to basic open,
close and stop commands, the Sonesse™ 30 RS485 motor allows for setting each window
covering to 16 intermediate positions. Feedback provides confirmation of each motor’s
position to ensure precise control from third party control systems. Also available are
complete systems of mechanical accessories designed to simplify installations, facilitate
quiet operation and minimize light gaps.

Somfy offers 5 motor 2 Amp fuse and 10 motor 4 Amp fuse
4 conductor power/control distribution panels, compatible with
the new ST30 RS485 and any other 24V motor. Both panels
have a dimension of 6” x 3.25” x 1.5” and include snaptrack.
The new panels feature RS485 IN, RS485 Expansion, Bus Line
Power 12V DC 1Amp IN and 24V DC IN.
