Roughly 50% of the population of Florida lives in their distributorship area, where they have installed more than 50,000 retractable screens!

Still Growing Fast

In September 1998, owner Jorge Paulino moved to the United States and joined 21st Century Screens, the exclusive Phantom Screens Distributor in South Florida, as Operations Manager.

Phantom retractable screens were a unique new product and the business grew fast, so fast that the company moved to their first commercial building in November of that same year. 21st Century Screens became Phantom's fastest growing distributor and the most successful retractable screen company in the southeastern United States. 

That same year, Jorge Paulino launched “Paulino Brothers, Inc.”, as the Phantom Dealer for Broward, Dade and Monroe counties selling, installing and servicing all the Phantom products in the three counties. In August 2008, he returned to 21st Century Screens as General Manager and two years later Paulino Brothers Inc., doing business as American Screen Solutions, purchased the distributorship for Southeast Florida and Treasure Coast.

The future homeowners needed a solution to shelter them from insects and heat while keeping the view to the lake, so American Screen Solutions installed Phantom Motorized Screens with UV protection and solar shading mesh. This solution now allows the family to enjoy a cool breeze from off the lake without having to worry about harmful UV rays or annoying bugs.
