The 30 Hudson Yards KKR project is a standout development within the broader Hudson Yards neighborhood, combining modern design, sustainability, and advanced technology to create a premium office environment. Designed by KPF Architects, the KKR leased space incorporates Somfy's low voltage motorization into the shading solution which enhances energy efficiency and comfort. The KKR space is designed to meet the specific needs of the global investment firm, providing a flexible and innovative work environment. The use of Somfy's low-voltage DC technology enabled the motors to be part of the Igor-controlled POE network. This project sets a new standard for sustainable, high-performance office buildings in New York City.
