In this collaboration with the University of Michigan and Ford, HED Architects created a state-of-the-art facility that integrates robotics into the physical environment. This project incorporates flexible layouts, smart design elements, and building technologies like automated shading to enhance functionality and flexibility in managing daylight. By installing Somfy’s animeo IP/RS485 shading technology, the building can optimize natural light and reduce reliance on artificial lighting, helping to lower energy consumption.
