  • Delivers up to 51W of power and ethernet-based connectivity. 
  • Supports both Somfy Synergy™ API and CoAP Digital Building API compatible with Molex Transcend Network Connected System. 
  • Powered and connected via standard Cat 5e/6 UTP cable and controls Somfy Digital Network™ (SDN) devices.
  • Control up to 4 Low-voltage RS485 motors from an SDN PoE Gateway.
  • When operating motors in a group, motors will cascade individually.
  • Aligned operation available with Sonesse® 30 RS485 DC (maximum 2 motors).
  • Total wiring between SDN PoE Gateway and all motors should not exceed 240 ft. when using SDN Low-Voltage Motor Cable.
  • Gateway connects to SDN Low-Voltage Motor Cable using a 4 pin to Weidmueller adaptor cable (included with the Somfy PoE Gateway Kit 1870445).

Integration Features

  • Compatible with Molex Transcend Control System, distributes power and data to shade and drapery motors.
  • IEEE 802.3bt and Cisco UPoE Compliant Device.
  • Ability to program up to 16 intermediate positions per motor.
  • Offers a control for groups of motors with stop and align command.
  • Compatible with Somfy Synergy™ API.

Connectivity

  • Capable of powering a single or multiple motors.
  • Easy to connect/disconnect RJ45 and 4 pin ports with adaptor cable included.
  • Supports both ANSI/TIA/EIA 568 A & B Standards.
  • Safe operation and industry-standard compliance (UL 2108/ UL 1310).
  • Not allowed to be on the same subnet as Molex Gateways.

Motor Compatibility (24V DC RS485 only)

  • Compatible with Sonesse 30 RS485 DC, Sonesse 50 Ultra DC RS485, and Irismo 35 DC RS485.
