Exciting Projects Put in Motion

Yacht With Motorized Roman Shades:

The client had a few porthole openings but really wanted one unit all across the openings instead of three separate units. The solution was to design one motorized roman shade to go across. Motorizing the roman shade enabled the client to raise and lower the shade easily. There were two shades across each other programmed to raise independently, and a channel to raise both at the same time. The client loved that feature!

Motorized Sheer Shade Divider

The divider drape in this master bedroom and office combination enabled the client to still maintain an open room feel instead of installing doors. The motorized Glydea track would be recessed into the ceiling to provide a clean look. The client looked forward to program an "Alexa, turn on good morning" command especially, since she was already using Alexa to control other features in her home. She was pleasantly surprised to learn that we can connect her Somfy system to the Amazon Alexa.

Double Story Entry With Motorized Shades

This project was a new construction. The clients designed their home and wanted a wall of windows. Although they loved the natural light, they noticed they were getting a lot of heat. The solution was to add motorized solar weave roller shades. These shades would always be controlled at the same time, therefore a wall switch was the best and most practical control for this area of the home. They loved the fact that the wall switch required no additional wiring!

Home Show Concept Rendering

Custom Window Furnishings theme for this home show was to present motorized window treatments that did not require the client to invest in electrical. One of the challenges their clients face with projects is the added expense to have an electrician come out to the project site to add an outlet for power. With the Somfy rechargeable motor options this is no longer an issue!   

They presented three types of treatments: a drapery mounted on an Irismo drapery track, a custom roman shade powered by the Somfy rechargeable motor and a roller shade on a battery motor. All three were motorized and did not require an outlet. They also featured voice control with Alexa! This type of motorization and control was a hit at the show!
