Mississauga, ON (Apr. 13th, 2022) - Somfy, the world’s largest manufacturer of motors for interior window coverings and exterior solar protections, today announces the opening of its new Canadian office in Mississauga, Ontario. In attendance at the grand opening were Mr. Tudor Alexis, the Consul General of France in Toronto, Yilmaz Ozturan, President-CEO of Somfy North America along with the Somfy Canada team and senior management team from Somfy North America.

The new office and warehouse, located in proximity to Toronto Pearson International Airport, represents Somfy's latest investment in the Canadian market for its growing customer and expert dealer base. The new warehouse is double the size of the previous location, providing stronger inventory management and improvement in the supply chain, delivering a seamless experience for professional partners and dealers. The new location will also offer in-person training sessions for up to 30 people at a time who want to learn more about the company’s products and solutions. Hands-on training in the new facility will align with Somfy’s ambition to accompany business partners and its Somfy Expert network in the consumers’ connected journey as smart shades are increasingly becoming the new norm.

M. Les nouveaux bureau et entrepôt, situés à proximité de l'aéroport international Pearson de Toronto, représentent le tout dernier investissement qu’effectue Somfy sur le marché canadien pour répondre au nombre croissant de sa clientèle et de sa base de revendeurs experts. Le nouvel entrepôt est deux fois plus grand que le précédent, ce qui permet de mieux gérer les stocks et d’améliorer la chaîne d'approvisionnement, offrant ainsi une expérience agréable aux partenaires professionnels et aux revendeurs. Le nouveau site offrira également des séances de formation en présentiel pour un maximum de 30 personnes à la fois qui souhaitent en savoir plus sur les produits et les solutions de l'entreprise. La formation pratique dans le nouvel établissement traduira l'ambition de Somfy d'accompagner les partenaires commerciaux et son réseau d’experts Somfy dans le parcours connecté des consommateurs, dans un monde où les stores intelligents deviennent de plus en plus la nouvelle norme.
