How can I connect my TaHoma Unit to a secure Enterprise Network?
In some instances, the TaHoma requires changes to the user’s network. Some security settings can block the communication of the gateway to the TaHoma server.
In most networks, dynamic firewalls, or NAT gateways in their default configuration comply with these requirements. This may not be the case for some Internet Access Points such as ISP Modem/Routers, commercially managed networks, 3G/4G phones, and APs by satellite.
The TaHoma Gateway uses DHCP protocol for the network configuration. It must be able to resolve all the DNS names of the ".overkiz.com" domain via a DNS server.
The address of the server used is :
54.39.91.5
The list of ports to open to these servers are :
123 TCP / UDP - 178.32.15.249 : NTP port: date and time synchronization
18888 UDP - 54.39.91.5 : Regularly check the connection to the server
802 and 803 TCP - 54.39.91.5 : Permanent TCP connection with TLS encryption
443 TCP - 54.39.91.5 and 178.32.15.250 : HTTPS port to transfer data securely with Overkiz servers
80 TCP : HTTP port for box updates
The prior information is to be shared with a network administrator. Somfy support teams do not handle network configurations.
